Anyone who loves their pets would do just about anything to keep them happy and healthy forever. The question is, are they in perfect health or do they need veterinary attention to prevent future problems?
Our pets can’t tell us how they are feeling, only diagnostic testing can. Early Detection Profiles are the easiest and best way to get an overall picture of your pet’s health.
Early Detection Evaluations can provide you and your veterinarian a clear picture of your animal’s overall health. It can help identify problems early so your pet can be diagnosed and properly treated; or, if all tests are normal, provide comforting peace of mind.
As we try to convey on a regular basis, bringing your pet in for a thorough physical exam once or twice a year is the cornerstone to keeping your pet happy and healthy. But sometimes, a physical exam just isn’t enough; the physical may give clues but there are many conditions, which can only be detected by laboratory tests or additional diagnostic procedures.

If detected early, 75% of common diseases in dogs and 63% of common diseases in cats can can be minimized by dietary modification alone. Newer arthritic drugs have been helpful in relieving your pet’s discomfort. It is important to monitor oral health since dental disease can have secondary changes in the heart and kidneys.
By identifying changes early, we have a much higher success rate in keeping your pet as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
We can help you decide which level of the “Special Health Care Program” for your pet is most appropriate, and make decisions regarding follow-up visits to monitor changes in the years to come.
